Wednesday 21st July

Following on from our first night with our hosts from Rondebosch High School and Bishops Diocesan, all of the Warwick tour squad visited the Langa township in Cape Town. This houses over 90,000 people with schools, churches, restaurants and market stalls. We were guided round in groups led by residents of the township who kindly invited us into their homes and around their neighbourhood. Lunch was spent at the Lelapa Restaurant with the infamous ‘Sheila’ hosting us. Following the meal we travelled to our respective fixtures with the A’s winning 19-14 and the B’s losing 53-21. After the matches all the tourists went back with their hosts spending their final night together.
